SMS Terms

Last updated August 18, 2026

These terms cover every text message BaddieMatch sends. BaddieMatch does not send marketing or promotional text messages, and alert texts are only sent to people who switch them on themselves.

1. Who is sending

Text messages come from BaddieMatch, the discovery and recognition platform at baddiematch.com, operated in Houston, Texas. Questions about a message you received: support@baddiematch.com.

2. What we send

There are exactly three kinds of text messages, and nothing else.

  • Account and security — the one-time code you asked for when verifying a number or signing in, and password reset codes. These are sent because you requested them at that moment.
  • Money confirmations — a confirmation when a payout is sent to you. These relate to money in your account.
  • Activity alerts — optional, one switch per alert type, all off unless you turn them on: a Baddie you follow posting a shift, a Baddie you follow clocking in, a reminder for a shift you RSVP'd to, a new RSVP on your shift, a gift or tip received, or a new review published on your profile.

We never send advertising, promotions, contests, upsells, or messages on behalf of anyone else.

3. How you opt in

Activity alerts require an express opt-in from you, one switch per alert type, in Settings under Notifications. You must have verified the mobile number first. Every switch starts in the off position. When you turn one on we record the exact consent language shown to you, the date and time, and the network address it came from.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of using BaddieMatch or of buying anything. You can use every part of the platform with all alerts off.

4. Frequency, rates and carriers

Message frequency varies and depends on which alerts you enabled and how active the people you follow are. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed on every carrier or device.

5. STOP and HELP

  • Reply STOP to any message to end all activity alerts immediately. We confirm once, and then nothing further is sent. You can still request a login code yourself when you sign in, because you are asking for that code in the moment.
  • Reply HELP for a message with our support address and these terms.
  • You can also switch any individual alert off in Settings under Notifications at any time, without replying to a message.

6. We do not share your number

Mobile opt-in information and your phone number are not sold, rented, shared, or otherwise disclosed to third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is shared only with the messaging carrier and our messaging provider, Twilio, for the sole purpose of delivering the messages described above.

7. Eligibility and accuracy

You must be 18 or older, and you must be the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you enter. If your number changes or is reassigned, update it in Settings so messages do not reach someone else.

8. Where this fits

These SMS Terms are part of our Terms of Service. How we handle your number and the rest of your information is described in our Privacy Policy, linked below.
